Rose is the team captain but, wisely, it’s a company that has aligned itself with a broad array of people it considers its joint venture partners, collaborators and stakeholders. Through the decades of creating living places, Rose has cultivated successful relationships with highly qualified consultants in all disciplines of design – urban planning, architecture, interiors, landscape – as well as many of Australia’s most respected constructors of great and enduring buildings. We regard these people and the entities for whom they work as valued members of our team. This collaborative approach is showcased by our successful delivery of the award-winning villages of Cape Cabarita and Breakfast Point and the thriving coastal neighbourhood at Beaches Catherine Hill Bay. Treasuring the Resource
THE MOST VALUABLE aspect of a rose creation is that provided by mother nature – LAND. All successful, vibrant communities have their foundations in sensitively curated land. AT rose we treasure it above all else.
Treading lightly in sensitive areas, Rose is uniquely identifiable for its best practice approach that in many cases restoring land and giving it over to passive uses enhances the lifestyles of the existing communities as well as the new Rose communities. At Breakfast Point we deliberately planned for 14 hectares of land to become open spaces, especially 1.8km of harbour front walk way. Catherine Hill Bay has benefitted from 320 hectares being dedicated to national parks and conservation land – over 80% of the land acquired by Rose. We also adhere to our own strict environmental governance and procedures. These stringent, self-decreed standards have guided Rose through the regeneration of brownfield sites to useable land that is integrated into a master plan and, more importantly, some of this land is renewed as open spaces or preserved in its natural state for future generations – a thoughtful and sustainable path.
